SaltWorks® is America's Sea Salt Company®. Founded in 2001 and based near Seattle, in Woodinville, WA, we supply premium-grade specialty salts to salt enthusiasts around the world. From culinary, gourmet salts to therapeutic salts for the bath, our customers range from individuals who order by the jar, to manufacturers, restaurants, retail stores, and spice companies who order by the pallet, truckload, and ocean container. We have created our superior selection of over 110 varieties of salts from around the world by sourcing sea salts and mineral salts from only premium locations, using well-respected and reputable suppliers who are FDA registered and ethically & ecologically approved. Once the salts arrive to SaltWorks facility, they are meticulously perfected using our exclusive quality processes. After an exacting initial screening, and since, depending on its natural environment, salt inherently contains traces of foreign materials like shells or sand, the salt then undergoes our Optically Clean® technology. Expertly developed by SaltWorks, this eliminates impurities and flawed crystals, while leaving the raw salt just as natural as the day it was harvested: no washing, no chemicals, and no tampering with Mother Nature’s components.
