This is my favorite go-to in the Woodbridge area. Pricey and worth it. While service seems slower than other restaurants, this restaurant isn't like any other. Relaxed meals, great atmosphere, attentive wait staff, very good food. Private parking lot is a definite plus. The Bistro is THE place to take your significant other for that special occasion.

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the last couple of years or so. Our first visit was just wonderful--the food was outstanding though, the service was very slow. We did not mind as the food made up for it. Our second and third time eating here was very good as well. We went a fourth time last spring and were disappointed--my husband found a piece of plastic in his entree'. He also said that some of the components of his meal were definitely microwaved and probably straight from the freezer. I sent my meal back as it was ice cold in the middle and completely overdone on the outside. We decided we might not come back again.

Last night, we decided on the spur of the moment to give Bistro L'Hermitage another try. While the service was good, the food was pretty awful. My husband had duck (he said the meat was good) but all the other components on his plate were ineatable. The duck was served with obviously pre- frozen, and seemingly 'old' gnochi --yuk! The sausage appetizer tasted freezer burned. My fish was alright but I think it was Tilapia and not the 'Cod' they claimed it to be. We won't be going back unless we hear of some major changes. It's too bad for the atmosphere there is lovely.

Great food, wonderful service would dine there again!

This resteraunt by far is the most elegant place that I have Seen in a very long time. They really get it right with the ambiance, The exquisite French Cuisine that beautify the eye and the taste is succulent. The management is superb the Chefs and Wait staff excellent at what they do. Thank you so much for having this setting 2 minutes away from my home

I have eaten there on three different ocassions with different groups and each time we all thought the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The decor is warm and classy and lends itself to a European feel. Thanks for locating in our community.G Neary

Worth the wait! Traditional French bistro fare with a top shelf staff. DC-caliber dining has finally arrived in Prince William County! Use the $$ you save on gas to enjoy a great bottle of wine. The roasted chicken is fabulous - the apple tart unbelievable!
