On frequent visits to Ireland SHE enjoys going to irish music festivals. And performing and playing in PUB sessions with friends and Family. Aisling enjoys planning and coordinating musical entertainment for parties. Dances. Weddings and ALL kinds of special EVENTS TAYLOR Whiteside performed for many years both AS a solo folksinger and in the irish band northeast winds. Which opened for the Clancy Brothers on their US tours from 1985 through 2000. HE Also played backup for Tommy MAKEM during TOMMY'S solo years. HE Also is a member of the Brandywine singers, a folk Quartet that was BIG in the sixties. (NOW We're ALL well over sixty – NO. Scratch that) and performs frequently with the shaw Brothers (NEW HAMPSHIRE'S "ambassadors of folk"). For several years HE performed in Newfoundland in clubs and on the CBC. HE has Also worked with irish tenor john McNally. The Kingston trio. Crystal Gayle. Peter yarrow and paul STOOKEY. Maloney. O'connell and Keane. The highwaymen. The Brothers Four. JIM KWESKIN. Patrick SKY. Norman Blake. Dave MALLETT. Utah Phillips. Josh white. JR. MIKE Whitney adds lead and harmony vocals. AS well AS mandolin. Guitar. And fiddle instrumentation. HE has been performing for 40+ years. Across a variety of genres (Celtic. Maritime. Blues. Folk. Bluegrass). And been a MEMBER/FOUNDER of a number of local north shore groups such AS "AS the crow flies". "DOWNDOG". "MO Fanny & loose shoes". And "STONETOWN". In addition to the rogues. Mike currently performs with traditional Brew (a Celtic dance band). And is a regular AT several weekly sessions. The fiddling THOMSONS are an award winning father and SON musical team. They share a respect for folk music and cultures from around the world with a particular focus on the Celtic music of their heritage. Ryan is a right handed former fiddle champion WHO relearned to play violin left handed after HE suffered a disability involving HIS right shoulder. BRENNISH is HIS 16 year OLD SON WHO began learning folk style violin AT 2 years of AGE. Though violin is their main passion they are both MULTI-INSTRUMENTALISTS WHO play fluently on several other folk instruments. .
