I was referred to Doug Henn (the owner) from a fellow war veteran. I never thought ii would have so many issues with this company.



In May 2014 i took a 1988 Ranger bass boat w/ a 88 hp Evinrude for repairs. A couple of days later Doug Henn (the owner) stated that a piston had been damaged by hitting the spark plug. His determination was that the motor had to be rebuilt. I gave him 1200.00 cash deposit for parts and he said that the total price to rebuild would be around 2000.00 to 2200.00 and should be finished by July 4th. It is now June of 2015 and after over 75 calls to him w/ no return call. I finally saw him April 5th 2015. He said he was sorry for the delay but still needed a bearing to complete repairs, and would be finished by April 20th. Unlimited Marine’s business includes shrink wrapping and storage of over 150 boats for winter. Upon observation of the Ranger, he never protected or shrink wrapped it for winter, while the boat was in his care. The custom Ranger cover was torn & there was family of raccoons living in the boat damaging the interior beyond normal repair. Also 3 marine batteries worth about $200.00ea are ruined due to the negligence of the company. When I inquired about these damages Doug about assured me that he would fully repair the damages and detail the boat. As of today June 10th, after over a year!!! All efforts in contacting him has been hopeless. Therefore, I picked up the boat, only to find that in addition to all the damages, the engine had been scavenged from with the top half of the motor completely missing. This company and it’s owner has shown no indication of honoring the contractual agreement between he and I. I have now been made aware of the fact that this company may not even be operating legally, and a call will be made to verify it’s legitimacy. I would request the proper documents from the company but they basically refuse to deal with me at all. Overall there is estimated to be at least $5000-$6000 worth of damage plus the deposit.



Litigation is coming but I hope no others will be caught in the same scam as I was.

Horrible! Unreliable, cashed our check months in advance and did not return our boat which was supposed to be delivered with a 9 month advance warning. Now need to envolve the police to get our own boat back. Quit answering the phone messages. Other neighbors ran into the same deal with this small business owner.
