I've never been to a bike shop with so much knowledge and experience AND enthusiasm to help anyone that walks in the door. I have a tendency to do some pretty unusual damage to my bikes and the mechanics at BD-W have never failed to bring it back to 100%.

I like that the people in here are amazing, they know whatever there is to know about handling bikes, and they have amazing tips to come with their great services.

This place is truly one of a kind because of their amazing people skill and their ability to make rapport with their customer, they also like bikes so there is a common ground.

Excellent store, good selection of brands with a very in-depth fitting studio. I live in northern virginia yet have found it worth the drive on multiple occasions because they offer fit services that go above and beyond what is available locally. Their prices are better than the local options and they do dynamic motion capture fits rather than static measurement ones that are just approximating while sitting still on the bike. Will definitely return for my next bike purchase.

One of the best bike shops in the DC metro area. Well worth the drive no matter where you live. It has to be one of the areas largest stores. They carry many of the best brands in the marketplace. They were excellent in helping me find the perfect the bike that fit me well. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I always see the same faces every time I go into the store and they actually remember my name. They definitely make you feel welcome! I love supporting a local bike shop that provides the knowledge and expertise you just can't find anymore.

Awesome bike shop, far better than the shops I have been to around Arlington and DC. If I didn't work in Waldorf I would still drive down to go to Bike Doctor, always worth the trip. Top notch selection and customer service.

No matter your level of cycling experience, the staff at Bike Doctor will do whatever they must to be supportive and accomodating. With a large inventory of bikes and accessories, well staffed with knowledgeable sales staff and mechanics, it really is a one-stop-shop. I purchased my firs road bike there and have returned back on numerous occassions for upgrades, have the bike fit adjusted as my flexibility improved, or just to ask questions. It's nice to know you can trust a salesperson to give you honest advice and not just try to sell you whatever product has the highest profit margin. Not only do they care about their customers, they care about their community.

The folks at this store have been great. I was new to bicycling and they helped me find the right bicycle--not just price but for my personal fit and comfort (I had not idea how important this was!). Having purchased my bike from them, they did adjustments and tune ups for free; had I bought elsewhere, these fixes would add up. The right bike---a quality bike -- at a good price, but when you add in the service and advice.....wow. They have given me a lifelong hobby! They are friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way for their customers. I have been to other bike shops since to browse, but these guys are the best.

This shop is the best in our area. Good enough for professionals, but services everyone with the same level of service.I will pass all other shops to get to this one.From BMX to road, mountain, trail and even cyclo cross, its all here.The mechanic station is capable of professional level support, wheel building and absolutely anything you need.Give them a chance and you will not be dissapointed.

I went there not knowing anything that I wanted and they helped me to my first real bike without trying to upsell me into a super fancy one even though I had no idea what I was talking about. 3 weeks later I rode 53 mile course with one of the guys who works there!
