Founded in 1967, the Union Township Community Action Organization is a privately owned, nonprofit social service organization that offers services to low-income individuals and families. It provides health and education services. The organization assists people to acquire skills and knowledge, gain access to opportunities and achieve economic self-sufficiency. It administers the Oliver E. Young Scholarship Fund to support students. The organization offers employment and training programs for youths between the ages of 14 and 21.
