Another Cheated Customer

This salon does not even deserve a star. Their pricing is sketchy and the service and quality leaves more to desire. I went to them shortly after their doors opened for a pedicure and they did a decent job. However, this last experience with them was less than decent. I went in for nail removal of my prior set (soaking), acrylic overlay on my natural nails, and pedicure for a total of $83. Within less than a week, the polish on my tips was already chipping (despite having UV gel), and the acrylic was lifting like crazy. I went back and showed Natalie my nails. She agreed to redo my nails. I went in after work and can you believe she wanted to charge me $10 ($5 UV Gel and $5 polish change) for redoing my nails after they did such a horrible job to begin with? [I opted for a different nail color as the polish I originally had was my own and did not want them to blame it on my polish. So, I decided to go with only their products. I agreed to pedicure (for which I paid in full, as that was OK, but wanted it to match). ] I told Natalie I agreed to pay for the polish change because I was going with a different color but not the UV gel as they did a horrible job to begin with. She and the lady doing my pedicure kept insisting it would only be $10. I told her, as another customer looked over, that again, I would pay for the polish change and pedicure but nothing more. After all, the quality of work performed was not worth the $83 I paid them the week before. Natalie hesitantly agreed only to have her mood change completely. She became utterly rude. She and the other lady began to hurt my cuticles, kept scratching me with the file, rough and speaking in their in own language about my nails. By the way, did I mention the nail clippers they used on my toes were not sanitized?! Natalie finished with my hands but yet you can still see the work they had done before. In some areas you can the outline of how she cut the acrylic that was lifting and in other areas you can actually see the acrylic lifted under the new acrylic. The UV Gel was applied less than smoothly and is already showing signs of chipping again. I have never had issues with my nails. In fact, I have been able to go between 2-3 weeks without them lifting. The lady doing my pedicure was moved to a different customer by Natalie and someone else was to finish polishing my toe nails. The new girl applied the polish unevenly on my toe nails. There are spots needing a second coat and on some areas less than a smooth application. The girl finished with my toes without saying a word. A few minutes later I was moved to the drying station. Minutes later, Natalie came by giving me the total due. I gave her my debit card and she stomped her way back with the receipt and pen. She again was short and rude to the point where she dropped the receipt. After I signed, she pulled the receipt from me. About 10-15 minutes later, I asked Natalie if my nails were dry...and this is her response..."I think so" and walked away. Seriously, was it too much trouble for her to come over and check?! I will not be going back and have already spread the word around in my workplace. Hope you don't visit this place either.

***If you want nails, I would much rather go to Ritz Nails on 17th Street in Santa Ana or Tustin Nails on Tustin Ave. For waxing, go to Linda's Nails and Skin Care on Tustin Ave.***
