Bark central is the only place we would bring our German Shepherd, Zeus. The staff is so friendly and Zeus can hardly contain himself when we get close to Bark Central!! He has made so many friends there both the human kind and the dog kind. The staff greets both you and your 4 legged family member by name. You're a part of their family as much as Bark Central is a part of ours!!

Everyone at Bark central is really caring for the customers and their pets. fun, safe, and clean place for boarding dog daycare, and grooming needs.

I take my ten month old yorkie to Bark Central in Tacoma. My little guy, Mango, loves the facility, his new friends, the staff. They genuinely love my dog and keep him safe all day while I am working. He is overly excited to get to "school" each day and can barely keep his eyes open on the way home in the car because he has played so hard. I recommend Bark Central for your doggie daycare !

I just opened a diner across the street and noticed this place immediately I brought my dogs here. I have a 11 yr old Jack Russell/Rat Terrier who has just had ACL surgery. My dog is a good judge of character and he liked her right off. I;m very protective and won't leave him with many people. The place is immaculate and you can tell she is very dog friendly and lobing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants there dog taken care of well.

I had the worst experience here that I have ever had at a groomer, we are a military family and needed to find a groomer, THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. such bad customer service, they were rude and they had to reschedule our appointment because they over booked then this yound lady that day didnt even want to help us. THEY muzzle your dog for a groom (would have been nice to be told that) my lil pup is small and very lazy, no mean bone in his lil body, no need for a muzle, the groom was less then expectation, I told the groomer and it was like she was fighting with me, very appauling, SAVE TIME AND HEARTACHE by not coming here. Ever.

We were in tacoma for a concert for one night, our hotel said they allowed dogs but failed to inform us they could not be left in the room (Even kenneled) on their own (Even tho we told them we were going to a concert)....they finally told us this rule after we got there.... we were at a loss.. we searched online and found bark central and they instantly told us to bring them over. We dropped them of went to enjoy the concert and came back in the morning to find they had smiles on their faces and their nails had been trimmed!Perfect pet boarding incredible staff!

My husband and I has a hard time finding a place that would groom our female rottweiller. They did a great job. The BEST JOB!We will take her back. All the staff are very friendly and nice.

The gals at Bark Central are phenomenal!! They are very knowledgable and skilled at their trade. The facility is dog-friendly and clean. Dogs staying over night are crated for their safety. Safety and cleanliness is of the utmost concern. And, should there be an emergency, there is always someone on-site, 24/7. My dogs LOVE going to Bark Central, and it's been a great opportunity for them to become more socialized with both other dogs, and humans. I don't worry about my dogs at all while they are there. I HIGHLY recommend Bark Central for all the services they provide.



SIDE NOTE: Another reviewer commented on "too much skin" being shown. There's less skin being shown at Bark Central than there is at local veterinary clinics, fast food drive-thrus, WalMart, or any other business in the area. Besides -- I don't think the dogs really care if there's "skin showing", or not -- neither do I, as long as my dogs are well-cared for and safe.

I HIGHLY recommend Bark Central for their pet boarding, doggy daycare, and grooming services. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful -- they are knowledgable and kind. Facility is safe, clean and loving. I trust them 100% with my pets. AAA+++

I brought my dog to Bark Central after reading a few reviews and looking around some. I'm really glad I did, the owner was really terrific, very upfront and friendly, and she has a good understanding of canine behavior. I left my dog to be boarded for the weekend and also to be groomed, and she had a very good time. The groomer did a FANTASTIC job, she was cleaner and prettier than I had ever seen! I took a happy, tired, and sweet smelling dog home. I'd recommend Bark Central to anyone!

Bark Central has been a life saver for me and my baby brindle. The staff has been more than just caregivers, he loves the attention and activities throughout the day. It is like a second home to him and he looks forward to going on a regular basis. If it wasn't for them I probably would not be able to keep my BABY BRINDLE.

My dog is a new dog!!! Before my dog began at Bark Central I had quite a problem on my hand as my dog had severe separation anxiety. I had no idea what to do with her. With the help and patience of Jackie Mitchell and staff my dog is now so much better. I find the staff to be kind, friendly and very knowledgable about animals. Love the open door policy dogs can come inside or outside as they desire (not to mention moms and dads of the pets can drop by anytime if they begin having they're own separation anxiety). Very clean, convenient location, Great hours and I have never been told no when I needed to drop my dog off at the last minute. I highly recommend Bark Central to anyone looking for a fun place for your dog (or cat)to hang out while you are away from home. You will bring home a tired happy dog and they will love you for it. I LOVE Bark Central!! I am very picky about where I keep my dogs because they are like my children. Bark Central is the place for them when I am away or if I have to stay in the office for a long period of time. I take my dogs here two or three times a week. It is so cozy with its home-style boarding with all its couches and they also have a swimming pool, and my dog LOVES the swimming pool!! Everytime I go there my dogs are so excited that they hop right out of the car and into Bark Central! The owner is very knowledgeable with animals and I trust her judgments when it comes to my pets. I have used many of her techniques and my dogs have been well behaved since I have been taking them there. The owner has an extensive background with animals since she used to work at the Vet's office for a number of years. I recommend Bark Central to every lovable pet owner!
