I went to Mr. Simonetti's for the first time based on the great reviews I found here. The first job was simple (pants hemming) and results were fine. The second job I brought him, though, was harder: three nice women's dress suits. Two of the jackets needed major waist/armhole reworking. And two of the skirts, having fairly complex knee-level pleats, needed four inches width of fabric taken out completely. I was delighted with every stitch of work that Pietro Simonetti turned out. The jackets now accommodate curves beautifully. And both the skirts somehow magically fit perfectly, complete with adjusted pleating. Mr. Simonetti was trained in Italy and the States. He is so nice and professional. I highly recommend him. Double check the street address, though. I think it's on 838 High Ridge Road, not 1492.

Pietro is BY FAR the best. I've had custom alterations by big-time tailors in NYC (Beyond Bespoke), and Pietro exceeds even thier abilities.I gave him 3 sets of paints with pleats, and he was able to remove the pleats and slim down the legs. Also fixed a line in one of my blazers. I will drive an hour from NJ to have work done by Pietro Simonetti. Can make a $500 suit look like a $3,000 suit!

Mr. Simonetti is an excellent tailor. I've been utilizing his services for approximately 5 years & have always found his work to be exceptionally good. From something as simple as replacing a button or fixing a hem, to adjusting a suit or being fitted for a custom made blazer, Pietro can truly do it all!

I was told a pair of pants for a job interview would be altered and ready to pick up on a Tuesday afternoon--when I went in on Wednesday morning, they weren't ready and I was asked to come back in an hour. They do a fine job with alterations, but I won't be returning.

Best tailor around! hard to find a good tailor these days. Great people takes time to get the job done, but let me assure it's well worth it!
