I can’t say enough good things about Allure and my experience with them. When my niece, who lives in Connecticut, asked me to help her in selecting a prom gown, I was humbled and honored. However, I had no idea what a tough job it would be. We traveled from shop to shop and I became annoyed by lack of good customer service and/or product. Imagine my joy when I arrived at Allure and everything changed for the better!

The owners, Doug and Rick, were angels. They were so sweet, kind, and accommodating from the minute we walked through the door. They spent time speaking (and listening!) to my niece and learning what her likes and dislikes were, her personality, and her plans for the night. Based on their understanding, Doug & Rick were spot on with selections they showed us for possible gowns, and we fell in love with all of them. My niece was in heaven as she exited Allure with the gown she said would make her “prom queen.”

Good customer service is severely lacking in our country these days. We all work hard for our money and resent spending it in stores that have rude staff, lack of attention to detail, and substandard inventory…yet owners expect us to shop there. Customer service at Allure wasn’t just good - it was outstanding. We were treated like royalty and I will never forget them (Doug and Rick) for that. It was an exciting, amazing, productive, and fun shopping experience. In the future, if anyone asks me where to get a prom or bridal gown, I will emphatically direct him or her to Allure. Great store, great products, great owners, great prices…just plain ole GREAT!!!

Allure Bridal saved my Wedding Day!!
I was traveling to Stamford CT. for my wedding day and when I arrived in newark airport, they lost the bag that had my wedding gown in it ! "I know a brides worst nightmare. My future mother In-law said there is a bridal shop in her home town ( long story short ) We went to Allure Bridal and we were greeted by a very kind gentleman named Doug. He reassured me that he was going to find me a bridal gown that day and have it ready by Saturday, mind you it's Tuesday late afternoon. I know "HELP"! OK so he took my measurements and asked several questions to narrow the search and low and behold he found me the PERFECT! wedding gown in 15 min. I couldn't believe it, could this be really happening that easy. I was so happy with his choice and started to cry when I saw myself in the mirror. We purchased it that day and a lovely man named Richard pinned my new wedding gown to be altered that second and "I am not kidding" he had my dress altered and pressed to perfection the next day. He told me had worked on it all night for me, so I would not have to worry anymore. Oh they also found me a matching veil too! I HIGHLY Recommend Allure Bridal to all who are looking for a dress for any occasion, these guys know their business.

I found this store quite by accident. I am so glad I did. Dough and Richard were so great to work with. They were very honest and professional. I started my search for a dress for my daughter's wedding in February and the wedding was in October. I feel in love with a dress but wasn't sure. The dress or the store were not the problem, I was. Doug knew I loved the dress but didn't pressure me. I called and made an appt to try it on a second time, Doug and Richard had the dress waiting for me. I fell in love with it all over again. From that moment on Doug ad Richard made the rest happen. Everything accept was perfect. The Meredith who is the did my alterations was so nice and professional. The pricing for all, dress, beautiful beading which Dough had added to the dress, and alterations were very readonable. Please visit the store, meet both Doug and Richard, and I am sure you will come away with an amazing dress.

I bought my wedding dress from Allure Bridal. I went to MANY different bridal shops to find my wedding dress and found nothing. As soon as I arrived at Allure Bridal, I found three dresses that I loved and knew that my search was over! Doug and Richard were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. They were also very responsive via phone and email. Doug recommended a dress that I normally would not have picked off the rack, and as soon as I tried it on, I fell in love with it and ended up choosing it as my wedding dress!! He truly has a great eye! I also used their seamstress, Meredith, who was absolutely wonderful! She is extremely patient, and made my dress fit perfectly! I had a great experience with Allure Bridal and will definitely use them in the future. I highly recommend them!!

Just wanted to say" THANK YOU !" the flowers you sent to my wife made her so happy, she said that everyone in the office were raving about them all day long! Just can't thank you enough, 25th wedding anniversary is a BIG one! Great job, I highly recommend this florist!!!
