Opened in 2003, Roosevelt Elementary School offers education to students in kindergarten through four. The school s facilities include a gym, library, instrumental band room and cafeteria. Each classroom of the school features a networked computer station. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science. Roosevelt Elementary School also conducts classes in several specialty areas, such as art, music, library, Spanish, computer applications and physical education. The school s students participate in various activities and celebrations, including Halloween parties, multicultural days, movie nights, grandparents days and spring concerts. Roosevelt Elementary School is located in South Plainfield, N.J., and is a part of South Plainfield Public Schools.
