      Before I became a piano technician and piano rebuilder, the pianos I played left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I knew the piano sound I had in mind was possible, and realized that if I was going to create the sound I wanted to hear, I would have to learn how to create that sound myself. That is precisely what I did when I developed this business. Its goal was to create beautiful sounding pianos for other pianists and myself. From across the United States, I located mentors that specialized in each for each portion of the work; Ron Nossaman(KA), Del Fandrich(WA) for piano soundboard design, Bruce Clark for action design. My piano tuning technique was derived from the tunings of David Andersen(CA), Virgil Smith(IL), Bill Bremmer(WI), and Isaac Oleg(France). My shop in Shirley, MA, is the envy of many small shop owners. Its pleasant light space, is fully outfitted to allow me to do any work required in piano rebuilding efficiently and meticulously.
