Awful, Unqualified Instructor!!!

This was a nice lesson in "you get what you pay for!" For those of you who are considering a pistol permit, spring for the extra 30 bucks the other pistol permit instructors charge and rest assured that it is money well spent. Grey Wolf's big selling point was that they offered the CT permit and the Utah 30 state permit for the cheapest price in the area. They neglect to tell you that it doesn't cover any of the surrounding states, so it is pretty useless if you live in Connecticut, since it doesn't apply to New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. When the class was done and I had my paperwork, I noticed a glaring error and pointed it out to the others with me. The name of th instructor on my NRA certificate did not match the name and stamp on my Utah paperwork. I was told quite rudely and unprofessionally by the CEO, Brian, it was not a problem and he threw a swearing fit. WRONG!! Within days of sending out my paperwork I got a call from a friend I took the class with saying the instructor, Chris Gay, who taught the class was NOT certified to teach the class and that the CEO Brian Williams was certified to teach it but was NOT the one teaching the class. Sure enough, I received some phone calls from the Utah Bureau of Criminal Investigation and sumitted a statement to them. Due to my cooperation I was told I would still be granted the permit. I declined since the whole ordeal made me feel like I was a part of a fraud. I did some further research into the credentials of the instructors and found out that Chris had become an NRA pistol instuctor only a couple of months before. Their old website made it sound like he was an instructor for years, the new one is toned down by being much more vague about these qualifacations. Brian Williams, the CEO of Grey Wolf Training Specialists, was rude and condescending on the phone. When he was hanging up on me I could hear him saying how "working with civilians makes me f***ing sick". So please, don't make Brian sick, do him a huge favor and find another place to get you pistol permit. Just go to the range you will be shooting in anyway, Bridgeport Shooting Range and get your permit there. The Grey Wolf needs to be put to sleep.
