General Info

Resonance School of Music was founded in 2011 by Christopher Flaherty. Christopher had a dream to inspire and educate young children and adults of all ages to love and appreciate music as much as he did. Resonance School of Music’s journey began in a modest one room studio located within a performing arts center not far from Rowan University where Christopher was completing his music degree. Christopher started Resonance School’s first studio on his own teaching piano and voice to a handful of students in the area. Within a years time, the studio had grown enough to warrant the need to relocate to a larger facility. Upon expansion of the studio, Resonance School of Music included lessons in guitar, violin and drums as Chris welcomed additional instructors onto his team. In four short years, our modest studio continued to grow expanding it’s student roster nearly ten fold in many different instruments. We thank our ever faithful and talented students for following us not once but two more times to our newest location in Sewell, New Jersey in Mantua Township. We hope you love our new home as much as we do. Not only are we excited to provide an opportunity for our existing and future students to grow as individuals but to become a supported member of the “Resonance” family of aspiring musicians. Our small studio, which started off with just piano and vocal lessons has grown into a fully operating music school that offers lessons in various instruments such as: piano, voice, drums, guitar, bass, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, and flute.
