Founded in 1983, the Washington Technology Center provides various tools and services to companies, entrepreneurs, universities and investors. It assists companies in securing federal funding through small business innovation research and technology transfer programs. The company also provides business counseling services. The Washington Technology Center operates a more than 10,000-square-foot microfabrication laboratory for micromachining research, development and production processes. Its clients include Wacom, Inova, Pathway Medical Technologies, Korry Electronics Company, Packet Engines and Paroscientific. The company has partnerships with the Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development, Washington State Investment Board, Economic Development Councils, Northwest Entrepreneurs Network and Eastern Washington University. The Washington Technology Center is located in Seattle.
