I would give this 0 stars if possible.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dental office. Dr. Martin is very nice as is his entire staff. However, I went in for a routine filling and without me knowing anything he was doing, he prepped me for a crown and charged me over $600 that one visit which was suppose to be a filling only. Had I known he was doing al of that I would have told him I needed to get the money together. It was very shady on his part.

Shortly after that, the crown was put on causing me to get an infection in that tooth bc it needed a root canal prior to the crown. once again, not told this by him when he had my xrays and could see what was needed. I had to go to an emergency dentist office to take care of the pain. I felt as if he wanted to get his money for the crown instead of helping me and doing what was needed for my teeth.

A month later after being told I owed nothing to his office they send me a huge bill. I have great insurance that covers most any if not all of a basic dental procedure. The receptionist/insurance lady is clueless when it comes to what she is doing. Again, nice, but terrible at her job.

Since this has happened, I have seen another dentist who has been great and tells me what I need to do before they even do it and how much it’ll cost.

I suggest before going to see him, try another place first. He needs to be your very last resort if any. This has been a nightmare for me pain wise and financially.

While treating Brynnan as a pt in dental hygiene clinical my smart niece found BBs cavity. Pediatric dentist said root canal. Endodontist said pull it and send back to pediatrics. They said oral surgeon. Oral surgeon said sedate in hospital. With BB in pain Dr Martin saw her right away. He and his amazing staff were beyond professional , caring and compassionate. He took his time,talked BB through it and didnt have to use gas or sedate. He has the touch many thanks bc I know it wasnt easy although you made it seem so. And might I add... I have one strong, tough cookie of a daughter.
