It has been several years since I last visited the Lobster but feels like just the other day. The best part about this place is the iconic location right at the start of the Santa Monica Pier. The location, ambience and food are top notch.

Great overall. If you really want to taste the ocean, this place will do it for your. You can really tell the chefs know what they are doing. The fish is fantastic, will be coming again.

The Lobster is a great place to dine. I especially like going to lunch there because the ocean views are so beautiful. This is the perfect place to take someone who is in from out of town. They will be terribly impressed and wishing they lived here!

Growing up in S M we ate at the original Lobster & lined up for years. We have been back to the NEW Lobster several times dined w/ reservations & view, and spontaneously watching bball on tv & eating lucious crab cakes followed by spiny lobster...it's all good!

Great. Favorite dish is the tri-tip salad, one of the best I've had.

Had a special dinner at The Lobster overlooking the Santa Monica Pier last night. We started with wonderful crab cakes and slaw, moved on to Pacific Spiny Lobster that just came in season and finished with a light strawberry sorbet. While pricey, it was a lovely evening and the service was spot-on too.
