Since its inception in 1927, Specialty Solid Waste & Recycling has been providing collection and recycling services to the City of Sunnyvale. A division of Bay Counties Waste Services Inc., it offers services, such as garbage collection, solid waste collection, recycling services and disposal options as the franchise hauler for the City of Sunnyvale. Located in Santa Clara, Calif., the firm offers its services to the residential, commercial and industrial customers, including solid waste and recycling as well as on call bulky pickup services for single family residents. Specialty Solid Waste & Recycling also offers curbside collection to municipal recycling programs and industrial debris box service. It has received the Certificate of Recognition from California Legislature Assembly and is a recipient of the Award of Recognition from the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce.
