We have been very pleased with the medical care we have received for our 4 dogs. The Doctors are wonderful & compassionate.

CAUTION: we recently had two dogs groomed there. Very unhappy with the haircut! They shaved our dog & ended abruptly at the back of the head. Our dog looks like Moe from the Stooges in the back. Not funny & over priced plus they nicked her skin in two places. Never again!

Great local business

I've been a customer for years and have never once had a bad experience with the doctors or the staff. They are all very helpful and answer any questions that I have. If I need any last minute clinic appointments or boardings they have taken me in when they didn't have to. This is a good local business me and my dogs enjoy.

Dr.Pavlov is awful!! He gave my English Bulldog pup steroid medication for a wound my dog had, without even testing samples of the wound to see exactly what it was. Ended up being something that steroids caused to go CRAZY and had to take him to the ER vet that same night because he itched himself raw and bloody due to the steroid medication.

The next day we called to talk to Dr.Pavlov and all he did was offer us a free bath for our trouble. He didnt care one bit that he gave out the wrong medication! The ER vet knew RIGHT AWAY from just looking at it what the skin condition was, and his testing confirmed it.

I would stay FAR away from this uncaring vet!!

Very friendly, both to owners and to pets. We've never had to sit and wait for more than a couple of minutes to get an exam room. LOVE the vet and assistants! Helpful, professional, kind. Great front desk, too. If I had to find a fault, it would only be that checking out can take a little longer than expected. I highly recommend Pavlov's, and appreciate that they don't over-inflate their prices, and don't over-recommend treatments by preying on your emotional attachment to your pets.

We have taken our cats and dogs to Pavlovs for the past 10 years. Dr. Pavlov has always been wonderful with our family members, and very knowledgable. Getting an appointment has never been a problem, and their rates are some of the best in town. Pavlov has always done a superb job on all the surgeries ever needed for my babies, from spaying/neutering to fixing my english bulldog's in-grown tail. Her tail no longer digs into her fat pad. We both appreciate that. -loyal clients (Liz and Chris)

All the staff is friendly and professional. We moved from the San Antonio area and now realize what a good thing our pets had at Pavlov's. They are great.

Negligent. Allowed my diabetic cat to become sicker.

My cat is diabetic. It had been a few weeks since she had insulin. The insulin refill was contingent upon a glucose test. When I admitted her to Pavlov's, I told them she lost weight. The following afternoon, the attendant said the cat was fine and was to only eat her diabetic food. She even made it a point to say she didn't know why the cat was there. Two days later, my cat is hospitalized for dehydration and insulin. The insulin we told the people at Pavlov's about in the first place. I hope this is read to prevent others from hurting their pets (and wasting their money) on poor care.
