Design-Build construction is a method of project delivery that allows Al J. Mueller to be the single source of responsibility. This method eliminates extra steps in the building process and allows costs to be established sooner. Design-Build allows both mobilization and construction activities to proceed concurrently with the final detail drawings. By using Al J. Mueller’s Design-build method, you’ll have a single-source provider bringing you rapid completion of your project. Under a traditional contract method, construction cannot begin until the design is finished, the project is bid and awarded, and the team is mobilized. But by using the Design-Build approach, cost and time savings are realized as up-to-date cost estimates are established. This replaces the traditional time-consuming construction method of estimating, bidding and re-bidding after subtle changes in the design documents are made. Along with our pre-construction services (which include assisting with zoning modifications, scheduling, environmental assessments, utility research, and groundbreaking ceremonies), the Design-Build method can take months off of the completion date of your project!
