I went to Hydra-Tech expecting to have to replace a torque converter for 800 or so dollars. Mike and I went for a test ride and in the first mile he stated that my problem wasn't the transmission. Hydra-Tech was very professional also prompt in diagnosing the problem and repairing my vehicle. However the most important attribute was their honesty. The past March my transmission went out on my car and Hydra Tech Transmission was recommended to me by a family member. After providing a new installation it took 3 weeks for me two receive my car. I also was told to pay in cash because of tax reasons. After about 2 months my car begin to have this weird jerking problem and it would cut off at the stop light. I was told by another mechanic that it was the torque converter. I was told that both of these parts should have been replaced at the same time. I called Mike the Owner but he said there was something wrong with the transmission but that's a lie. He didn't want to fix my car because I refused to pay any more money. He was attempting to double ticket my car so he can make twice the money. These people are the definition of shady mechanics. Please do not come here. Save yourself the headache. I am a college and it wrong for a company to take advantage of people.

I recently brought my car to Hydra Tech to have the transmission checked. They told my it would cost $2200 to be fixed. When I brought it to a competitor they replaced a sensor for $35 and my car has been perfect since. These guys are crooks!!!!!
