Ive been coming Red palace at Tanglewood mall for a couple months now. Was introduced through a colleague of mine. I was working late one day and he order chinese, i remember after one bite of there beef lo mien i was hooked. First of everything is fresh, all dishes are full of flavor and its really good.They have really good dumplings and soup as well.

They have a wonderful buffet and selection it is your typical american chinese with great food...

If you want authentic Chinese you will have to venture to a bigger city. Otherwise decent food.

BEST Chinese cuisine in Roanoke & I know top quality Chinese food! In the 3+ years I've lived around the valley, nothing comes close to being as fresh as this!!! I've never been disappointed with Red Palace - they didn't let me down again.

Great Family Place to Eat: We went to Red Palace in Tangle wood Mall for a friend's daughter's birthday party and was pleased to find the facilities very clean, the wait staff professional and friendly without being condescending, and the food excellent in freshness and taste. There was such a wide variety of food that it would satisfy even the most discriminating of palates. Loved it and definitely would go back!

Good food: Compare all the buffet restaurants I had been. This one is the best, they have a lot of different selection for food, and one time visit can't even finish trying everything they have. It's Worth Your Time and Your Pocket: I recommend Red Palace Buffet to those who fancy all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants. It definitely is a good place to bring your children and the whole family to enjoy all the different kinds of fresh food. Good setting and ambience, and worth our money for all the food we have eaten.

I MYSELF HAS EATING THERE ALSO, AND THE FOOD IS VERY ,VERY, GOOD. SO IF YOU WANT TO DINE OUT ANYWHERE NICE AND CLEAN, GO TO RED PALACE. I LOVE IT.

Wonderful: This restaurant was suggested to me by my cousin and Grandmother. It was crowded when we got there, but we were seated in a timely fashion. The variety and presentation of the food was lovely. My favorite dishes were the General Tso’s Chicken, I also loved the crab rangoons , Mandrin style chicken wing and Pan fried dumpling, in fact everyone loved them because we had to wait a while to get some, and when we looked around, just about everyone had a plate full. They also have Cheese cake and Pie those cakes were wonderful. Everyone was very polite, and the place was clean. The bathroom wasn't completely clean because there were paper towels over flowing in the bin, but that wasn't so bad, because it won't hinder me from coming back.

My family and I travel 50 miles one way at least 1-2 times a month. The food and -drinks are excellent!!! I have never had anything that I didn't love. I wish they would open one up in Charlottesville, or Richmond. Wed go a lot more.

In Roanoke, this is probably the most popular chinese buffet. Lots of variety of items and good quality. The only drawback is that the prices are getting a little too high for a lunch outing.
