The folks at Hester Process Service have been very cordial, friendly and easy to deal with. When my papers they were to serve me hadn't arrived as intended, they called to notify me rather than keep me in limbo. I was impressed by this courtesy.

While nobody wants to hear "you're being served", the truth of it is they are actually trying to help you. The docs they are serving have been recorded with the court and whether you accept service or run and hide, the judicial clock is running and you could easily end up in default without a chance to defend.

Remember, the folks at Hester are not the bad guys and should not be treated as such. They are merely the messenger, doing their job, just like any of us.
