Raleigh Rescue Mission is a Christian, interdenominational, nonprofit agency. It is a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. The agency was founded in 1961 to minister to the growing needs of homeless and hurting men, women and children in the community. Raleigh Rescue Mission offers a long-term recovery program and emergency shelters for men, women and children. It also provides safe housing, clothing and meal services, as well as Christian counseling and other support services to help them achieve their goals and make a successful transition back into the community. Located in Raleigh, N.C., the agency provides free medical care services to residents through its on-site medical and pediatric clinic.
