I took my car here because the engine light was on and "Henry" the owner said he could fix it. He promised the car would be fixed at a certain time, it was 2 weeks later after numerous phone calls and frequent stops by the shop that he finally answered me. He says he had to order parts and it would be another week. This put a tremendous burden on my family because everyone works different shifts and hey who can 1/2 function in Raleigh without a car. I asked him if I could just take the car home since it would be a while for the part to come in he said no because he had the car tore apart.Finally after 4 weeks he calls and says the car has been fixed and it would cost $700.00. As soon as I got the car home and had to run an errand the light is back on. So I immediately call him back he tells me to bring it back he keeps it for another week and I call and stop in and it's the same thing well I am waiting on a part. He calls and said the car was fixed, and it would be another $75.00 this time I told him I would pay him later in the week. Well guess what the same thing happen as soon as I pulled off from his shop the light comes back on at this point I ask for my money back he says no, I ended up having to get a waive from the DMV and has to get an itemized statement from this con-artist and when I look over the detailed itemized statement the majority of the charges were for labor or should I say storage. I highly reommend you not take your car here.
