Founded as Refrigerated Food Express in 1952 by Thomas E. Welby Sr., the RFX Companies have grown to provide a variety of services to handle van, refrigerated, flatbed, rail and ocean container shipments. It is a 48 state common and contract carrier as well as a licensed transportation intermediary. The company has more than 20 offices throughout the country. Refrigerated Food Express is a member in good standing in the Truckload Carrier s Association, Transportation Intermediaries Association, National Association of Small Trucking Companies and National Association of Independent Truckers.
