Provided by YP.comWell, let me start with saying that I don't normally leave reviews, however my experience today at Steve's was nothing less than stellar! I had a couple years old Electrolux EL 7085-ADX canister vacuum that I believed had a burned out motor. Steve was very straight forward in telling me that my vacuum was not worth the repair cost, he however had a very nice used Riccar canister vacuum available that he had just traded in for a newer model. Steve gave me a very fair deal on it and I was sold on it because the trust I felt with Steve. I have just vacuumed my house with the Riccar and I truly love how it worked. Steve and his son are salt of the earth people, even though I met them for the first time today I was treated if I was a life long customer, I was not.....however I will from this point forward.
Thanks Steve!

Provided by YPmobileSteve black is a capital fellow. Chasing customers around the store is not this style, nor is charging customers for diagnostics. If he can't repair the machine, he returns it and doesn't charge one cent. Then Steve walks away and doesn't dry a word about selling you another vacuum. If you happen to ask his advice, Steve recommends the exact vacuum you want. Not whatever is the most expensive in the store. As long as I live around here, I will never go anywhere else.

Provided by YP.comI have been Steve Black's customer for 15 years. He, and now his son, are knowlegeable. Repairs are FAST and perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this business.

Provided by YP.comI have been a loyal customer of Steve Black for 17 years. Steve came out to assist me when my car was losing power steering fluid -- and, I wasn't even a customer! I started taking my vacuums in for repair/maintenance. I have purchased three vacuums from him over the years; and, just drop in for a quart of shampoo for my shampooer. Steve and his son are always polite and happy to do business with me. More business should use Steve Black as an example.
Back in the day we could afford to go out & just buy a new vacuum if we wanted to, but nowadays, funds are tight. I've been bugging my sweetie for months to get a new one, since he for some reason, got it in his head it was ok to use ours as a "wet-vac". Those that know - liquids and regular vac's don't mix. Although, I must admit I was very embarrassed when Steve commented "Oh, yes, I remember your vac" when I announced my name for pickup. I knew my vac was bad - clogged hose, dusty worn out filters, Hutch's hair (our new choc. lab), I could only imagine how many gloves & mask he had to put on to clean the darn thing! As he walked it around to me (this is the time for the ta-da), I couldn't believe it! It was like I just pulled it out of the box and when he lifted it to take it to the car (true gentlemen) - I saw the sparkling roller thing at the bottom and knew this man and his staff take great pride in putting in quality work into their dirty jobs! The cost? Less than $50 :-)
