Mind you, I've only been here once, but it has a very relaxing, low-key environment with decent food. The overwhelmingly best quality of this establishment is the service, which is overseen by the owner-manager, who is a charming, concerned and helpful individual, apparently very interested in the satisfaction of his customers' experiences, regardless of the extra effort required to make them happy. The staff, in general, is friendly and customer-service oriented, which is a refreshing change in this area. The menu is limited, which may be a good thing, in that what is prepared is done appropriately. The wine list is adequate, and help in selecting the right type is available. Food arrives at the proper time - not too quickly, and not too slowly, The music played through the sound system has a tendency to be somewhat 'canned'-sounding, but a live band of truly good musicians plays there on Friday nights.
