I always enjoy going to Golden Palace because they make delicious food with fresh ingredients. They have so many dishes you can choose from and you will definitely enjoy them.

Best Pensacola Vietnamese Food aside from home cooked

Golden Palace is fairly new and reFRESHing Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and especially CLEAN. The menu hits some of the main popular food items traditionally found in Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants. The springs rolls are spectacular (fresh vegetables, large fresh shrimp and thick sweet peanut sauce). The traditional Vietnamese soup, Pho, is very aromatic and light tasting with freshly sliced beef. I have eaten Vietnamese in Paris-France, Orlando, Gainesville, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Florida, Houston, Austin, Boston, Manhattan, Washington D.C. and would highly recommend Golden Palace. As an individual with a diverse heritage of being half Vietnamese and raised on both southern American cuisine and Vietnamese cuisine, I eat Vietnamese food whenever I get the chance in new cities. I have also worked at 2 Vietnamese restaurants during college. With an experienced perspective and palette, I can enthusiastically recommend Golden Palace under the current ownership. They have a comfortable atmosphere with friendly owners offering progressive amenities such as wi-fi access and widescreen flat panel entertainment and a new menu item, Boba Tea.

I have also eaten at the only other Vietnamese restaurant in Pensacola several times only because there were no other options at the time, and always have been disappointed. The food there is bland and watered down in flavor and in substance (especially the peanut sauce).

As for the other review. No comment necessary. Ignorance speaks for itself.

Hi, I'm writing a review for this restaurant because I can not find any other reviews for this great restaurant. I usually travel from Alabama to a city in Florida named Destin and was in the mood for some Chinese food. I stopped by Golden Palace off N. Davis Hwy and was surprised that they served Vietnamese dishes as well as Chinese dishes. I came in and was greeted by a friendy staff and sat near the window. I looked through their menu and noticed the served Pho. I've eaten this popular Vietnamese dish before and I wanted to see how well they made Pho. For an appetizer, I wanted to try something interesting so I ordered spring rolls. Wow, they were really tasty and refreshing. I think that those spring rolls are an excellent appetizer to enjoy, especially for the summer, because it has fresh vegetables in it and comes with a tasty dipping sauce. Impressed by their appetizer I couldn't wait to try the Pho, and let me tell you I was not dissappointed. My server came out with a steaming

I deeply know the food their stinks. The food looks like it has been sitting there for weeks. The food is bland and does not taste like Vietnamese at all. The environment is old and wreckage. Also, the place is a copycat. What idiot would open a business right next to another Vietnamese business who has been in Pensacola for decades. Or else, why would someone wants to copycat the other business own menus, price, etc.. I have been there several times and have been disappointed with the food everytime. Go home and food at home! Sorry for being rude but the food taste very bland (these is not quality).
