The best restaurant on earth no contest. Get the sampler platter as a meal or try the Grand Burger. On the ceiling of the main dining area hundreds of thousands of dollars are stapled to the ceiling. As you enter the dining area go to the right there are a couple of rows of tables and in the back of the room is a large moose head above a fireplace. On a square table about eight feet in front of the moose there are a couple of names in brass plates. My grandfather Paul Garvey is one of the names on the plates. He went to Mc Guires every Friday for about thirty years until his death. The others on the table were friends of his. Of these men only one (Robert Phillips) is still alive and currently resides in Pensacola. German naval flying Officer. Best steak since we have been there. I see its still there, so it lasts for centurys, and the steaks are legendary. Keep it up and stay in business. Wish I could be there again.
