J.D. Hayward, born in 1949, owns and operates a studio and gallery in the historic district of downtown Pensacola, Florida, specializing in executive portraits, and black & white fine-art photography. Haywards black & white art photographs are in public and private collections throughout the United States. His one-man art shows have included a display in the Florida State Capitol Gallery under Gov. Lawton Chiles in 1998, and a display in the Governors Gallery under Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in 2002. He has won numerous awards at art festivals throughout the Southeast, including Best of Show among 150 artists in the 33rd Annual Fine Arts Show in Fairhope, Alabama, in March 2010.
