Dry cleaning is a bit of a misnomer in that it isn't a completely dry process. However, the chemicals used contain very little water, hence the term "dry." The process itself has been around since ancient times and is a highly skilled craft – part art and part science – with many different methods. In short, not all dry cleaners are alike, which is one of the reasons you will find such great variations in price. As a general rule, as with anything else, you tend to get what you pay for. At Vick's Cleaners, we are a "Certified Master Dry Cleaner" and "Certified Professional Dry Cleaners," and we take great pride in making your wardrobe look good. It is particularly helpful if you know the source of a stain and can point it out to our staff when you bring your garments in for cleaning.
