In 1985, his journey began at Grand Prix of Costa Mesa. There he got his start working with tires and learning the basics of the industry. He decided to make a change in 1993, and began to work at Tires Warehouse, where he stayed for 6 years. The company valued his dedicated hard-work, and decided it would be better to transfer him to Anaheim Wheel and Tire, to work as a mechanic. And work as a mechanic he did.
