Finally!

There is no doubt that this is the best place to eat in Olney. The food is great, and consistently delicious. The service is friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. The owner and his wife are so accomodating. The chef actually visits your table. Here in Olney....who knew it could happen. Just top notch all the way around.

Like being in Italy

Who would have thought that a restaurant in a building shared with Domino's Pizza would be like going to Italy? I didn't until I entered the place. The first level entrance opens to a small area with some tables where patrons enjoy a drink before getting seated. Going downstairs to the basement reminded me a great deal of many Italian trattorias where being seated in the basement is not unusual. However, being in the “basement” didn’t mean that I felt cold; just the opposite in fact. The walls were very welcoming; glowing from an earthen color palette and a texture of plaster looking brush strokes. I was impressed with the tables quaintly hand painted with olives and leaves. But, the best part of the dining experience was the food. A tantalizing authentic variety of dishes made it hard to decide on my entire meal so I opted to choose one course at a time. My palate was not disappointed. Every dish I had was perfectly prepared for the visual effect as well as for flavor. I won’t list what I had so that you can enjoy your own impressions. The service was also excellent. The only negative was that the place became as little noisy once filled the diners, however, it was with happy energy so that speaking loudly didn’t seem such a chore.

Great Roman Italian menu. No spaghetti and meatballs or eggplant parmesan. Great choices from fish from the specials to veal, shrimp, pasta, lamb, and much more to choose from. The wine list has some wonderful names and types - great pairing with the foods. Ask if they have the Italian Pinot Nero, such a wonderful wine and great pairing with any of the meats and some of the seafoods. Definitely a must try....
