Always wonderful and always a special treat!

We live in Citrus County, & my wife & I often stop at Barnes & Noble on the way to Ocala. Mimi's is directly in front, so I decided to take her there once. It has a New Orleans motif, & the atmosphere is conducive to socializing, with the tables & booths providing reasonable privacy. The dishes are varied & unique with some ingredients. You can get anything from sandwiches to fish to bouillabaisse to pot pies to good salads & quiche. They always feature a couple specials. We have been back several times, & those we recommended it to also went back.

not a big fan of Southern or Cajun dishes, but even so, many of the recipes could be updated to be heart-healthy.

great place for breakfast

I was on a business trip for a few days in Ocala. The food here was fantastic. I loved it so much that I ate there all three nights that I was in town. Be sure to have the Carson Palmer drink, yummmy. lol. The decor is also unique, kind of like TGI Fridays and the service was top notch, every night.. Highly reccommended. :)

Mimi's is a nice atmosphere with good food in large portions for a GREAT price! I liked it so much, I'm forgoing the usual Olive Garden location for my Wedding Rehersal Dinner and having it at Mimi's!
