Founded in 1888, The YWCA St. Joseph is a multicultural women's organization in the world. It conducts lessons and training classes in water aerobics and swimming for members and nonmembers. In addition, the organization provides referral service that offers training, child care and support services to child care providers. Its health and leisure programs include treadmill, elliptical machine and universal weight circuit training. The YWCA St. Joseph offers counseling services for pregnant and parenting teens, as well as provides free mammograms and diversity programming services. It also provides domestic violence shelter and rape crisis advocates services for victims. The organization is located in St. Joseph, Mo.
