Jack is absolutely amazing! After four other repair guys failed to fix my refrigerator he diagnosed and found the small Freon leak. And on top of that fixed the heating coil in my Samsung dryer. I will use him always and definitely recommend him!

Jack's knowledge of appliances and how to fix them is amazing. Unlike most repair places who won't show up for 1.5 to 2 weeks, then dismantle your appliance to "diagnose" the problem, and leave it dismantled, order a part, then come back in a week or so to do the repair as well as charge an unreasonable amount, Jack keeps the parts that break most often in his truck. When he leaves, the appliance is repaired. I always feel his charges are fair. He comes the same day he is called or the next most of the time. He may be later than he first tells you because of an earlier job taking longer, but he still gets there on the day he promised. He has repaired my Samsung washer, Samsung dryer, and air conditioning unit. I have used him for repairs for multiple years and know he is dependable as well as always doing a good job. He is "old school" repair. He finds the problem, fixes it, and is on his way. What more could anyone ask for.Bonnie in Chapel Hill

Jack is a wonderful, caring and knowledgable repair man. He is available at any time and has always managed to fix our air conditioning units promptly. He now services our air and heat units each year. While other companies just want to replace units, Jack will repair them. I highly recommend Jack for all appliance repairs, heating and cooling systems.

What can I say -- we called late afternoon on a Friday with an issue we were having with our GE refrigerator's that is not cooling, and he showed up within an hour. Super friendly, and quickly went to work diagnosing the issue. Quickly, he found the problem and said that bad control board. After a quote given, with the part available in his work van. Very reasonably priced for the entire experience, and he definitely knows his stuff, and we found our new appliance repair guy! In fact, I called a guy to fix my refrigerator for two weeks before and that guy replaced a heating element to my refrigerator and then it does not work. I felt disappointed and not called him back because I don't feel confident with him via performance.

Hi all, My name is Teresa Kurth and my Samsung refrigerator (SxS) was damaged during moving. I called the moving company to complain the problem. And Mr. Jack was sent to my home to take care of it. When my washing machine broke down, I first called Sears and Whirlpool customer service. They both told me I would have to wait several days, and they tried to get me to sign up for $300 maintenance plans. My wife searched online and found Jack's Repair. Jack was willing to meet me after work, on the same day we called him. When he first showed up I wondered, to myself, whether he knew what he was doing, but Jack went straight to the problem and had it fixed in thirty minutes. I don't know what Sears would have charged, but I'd guess probably two or three times what Jack asked. He says he fixes anything, so next we have trouble I'm calling Jack.

Thank you, Jack. After getting ripped off by Sears for the "repair" of a hot water heater, a friend referred me to Jack's Appliance Repair. He was professional, listened to my tale of woe and showed up the same day to solve the problem! Saved me the agony of being without hot water for another 2 days. Reasonable rates, courteous, respectful, and talented . . . coming back to complete additional services needed in two days. He is a permanent name in my "call for help" file for appliances.

My Samsung dryer, dv328aew/xaa , quit to work a few days. I called a few of appliance shop in Durham, Raleigh to look for a Samsung heating element, and I was in vain_ it is not in stock and have to back order if I want they says that. And then search and found Jack's Appliance, taking a chance to call him for help. He came up late a bit and this was not matter to me. I followed how he works to learn. Mr. Jack replaced a heating element with his own technique, wholly different technique I ve seen online. Obviously, he worked so fast. No doubt, Jack is excellent on Samsung brand as many people recognize. With Samsung parts available, good behavior, and courtesy, Jack's Appliance should be appreciated and recommended. My household had been living with no hot water for at least 6 months. We worried that calling a plumber would be a time and money-intensive boondoggle, so we kept putting off the call. This morning, I called a very closed friend for help and she introduced me Jack who fixed Samsung refrigerator and Air Condition for her before.. I'm all smiles and very thankful to Jack's job. Within 5 minutes, he identified the problem and replaced a small part called thermocouple to the water heater. Now, my family has hot water gushes freely, and we will certainly call Jack in the future for any needed service. It's nice to know that Jack is good on water heater! I called Jack the day after Christmas in 2011. My freezer stop working. He came out that night and fixed my freezer. He was very nice and professional. A year later, a week before Christmas in 2012. My ice maker was overflowing the water out of the tray. I called him up and in the same day he came by and look at my freezer. He had to order the part to fix the ice maker. He ordered the part and it came in one day later. I would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Jack Erika

I called authorized Samsung in Wake Forest to request to fix my dryer, mod DV210AEW, due to not heat. The company set schedule of service in 9 days. I feel sorry because of too much laundry. I search and found Jack and I called. In spite of being busy, he tried for the service in late evening. Jack is fully confident to show me what problem could be happened to my dryer. He do so fast, neat and vacuumed all lint and dust in the dryer. My dryer was replaced a new heating element that looks better, stronger than the original one. I like Jack's job and wholly feel satisfied. Also he told me how to take care of the dryer and washer. I really appreciate Jack's . Lisa (Cary, NC)

I really want to thank Jack, a nice technician, has helped us to repair our furnace. I swallowed to my price to called Jack at 8 PM due to being too cold in a few coming hours. Jack is so happy to help us to fix my furnace. Thank Jack's enthusiasticness. Also he help me to replace a few filter for the furnace and guide me how to maintain the air conditioner/ heating. Called Jack Sunday afternoon, he came over that evening - no "emergancy or weekend" up charge. Very curteous, very efficient. Fixed one issue with Whirlpool frontloader. Came back the next evening and finished fix (needed a part). Fully explained the problem(s) and gave us tips on maintanence of the unit (and the dryer). Charge for parts and labor very fair. Highly recommend him.

I am really really happy to write over here some word to expess how excited I was when my Air Conditioning system works again. It was very hot on that day (97 F) and my Air Conditioner shut down suddently, and all of my family seemed corraled in an oven. I called some AC services for help and I was denied or to be said "tomorrow". I called Jack's Appliance and scheduled next day. After that he called me and schedule late that day. It was so because he knew we have some babies. Although it was so late but much better than tomorrow. I understand. Jack tried to finished the job regardless of bad weather, it was raining and winding. I handed over a raincoat to him. He was wet a bit and done the job exellently. Thank you Mr. Jack has come out to take a look and repair my Samsung (SxS) refrigerator recently. I called some local techs and all they refused services on the name Samsung and one among them introduced me to another technician called Jack. Jack explained to me, when he served on my fridge, how it's different between Samsung and others, and where the problems are. Thanks to Mr. Jack, you gave me usefull informantion about my fridge; your knowledge of refrigeration would be appreciated. Jack worked nearly two hour on my refridgerator to have it worked in order, and I was really happy with his service behavior. I promissed myself to call him back when I need. I have a French refrigerator branded GE, around 7 year old. A week ago it suddenly was not getting cold both sides (up refrigerator compartment and and down freezer compartment). I called an HVAC company for repair and they said that my fridge is low charged (short of freon) and they suggested us to have a new one because they do not charge refrigerant for household refrigerant_ could be smaill job to them, I think. I then I called a nother guy for help and he denied for charing freon, he has no experience for the service. I cannot throw away my fridge because it looks like new, I called Jack's Appliance Repair, and he took my fridge to his shop to repair due to the room at my home not permitted. Two days later, Jack called me and said "done". He bring it back to us and all of my family were so much happy. Jack does good job.

On May 5, 2012 I called Jack's Appliance Repair to come to restaurant located inside Crabtree Mall, Raleigh to repair my cooler due to not getting cold. My cooler brand "True", Mod TM52 was not getting cold and had difficulty to reserve food for my restaurant, before Jack I called a company and they said that my cooler's evaporator is bad and suggested us to replace a new evaporator at so high price that I cannot handle. To be introduced by a next door's friend, I called Jack after that and I am really satisfied with Mr Jack and his tech. They worked hard together to finish the very difficult job to help me with a much lower price compared with the previous' estimate. Thank you and thank you many times

Hi Jack, I just wanted to say "THANK YOU" for coming to our home today and fixing our freezer door. You were able to get to us same day within an hour and it was truly appreciated! I'm so really happy that we don't have to use that clamp anymore and the freezer door shuts properly now! With the economic situation and not being able to work, there is no way that we could afford a new refrigerator, nor could we afford a $60 service fee like most companies are charging, and that fee is for them to just to take a look at the problem. You are extremely knowledgeable and were even able to fix our older GE model quickly and your $10 for gas and your service fees are more than reasonable making it affordable for us to call you again if we need you. I do not know how to present my happiness that to write some words for a recommendation and would like somebody has happiness to be served by Jack. Jack, you are HIGHLY recommended .
