I purchased a Rolex President # 18238 from Anaheim Jewelry & Rolex ( Brad & Robert Mugar ) $12,600. Rolex arrived with green melted wax on the dial. The band did not fit. Brad Mugar assured me that he would include an extra link for the watch band in case I needed to make an adjustment for a better fit. He did not include the extra link. The watch was missing the advertised original documentation, tags, etc. I contacted Brad about this and asked him for a pre paid shipping label to mail the watch back to him. ( they advertise that they will supply a pre paid shipping label to send it back if there are any issues ) Brad ignored my requests for the shipping label. I became very nervous and decided to ship it back at my expense. ( cost me $234.39 to ship the Rolex back insured ). I immediately contacted my credit card company. Brad and I spoke on the phone and he said he would correct the issues and mail back the watch. I checked the tracking # the next day and they sent the watch to the wrong address. I informed Brad that to many things have gone wrong with this purchase and I would like to reverse the sale. Due to my anxiety, ( terror really ) I offered him $500 and requested he credit back my credit card the remaining balance. My credit card company told me I did not have to offer him the $500 because they would have backed me up for the full amount. I asked the Mugars if they would split the difference in good faith and only keep $250 of my money. Robert told me no. This attempted online purchase cost me $734.39 and extreme anxiety. I openly admit that I offered the $500 to get back the much larger amount that they were holding. I could have prevented all of this if I had checked some of the quality online watch forum reviews prior to this attempted purchase. People have similar stories to tell. Check them out. There are a lot of quality luxury watch dealers. Do yourself a favor and don't make the mistakes that I made. This was a miserable experience.
