Based on my experience, if you need you car repaired in a hurry, don't take it to Adam's. I went in at 1 o'clock and they said they would send someone over to pick my car up. It was 6 o'clock before someone showed up.

My car sat in their lot for a WEEK before they started on it. The day they said it would be ready by 5 o'clock, I waited until 7:30 and the driver they said would pick
me up hadn't shown up. I had been up since 4 that morning, so I went to bed. Someone did show up around 8, but that was too late for me.

Larry did bill me for the amount that we had agreed on for the repairs. But then he wanted to charge me $80 for the towing. I feel like since he did the work, he said
they "probably" would start on it the next day and it took them a week to even start on the car, WHY did I have to pay for the towing? I feel like he should have given me a break on that.

This car isn't my daily driver, so it's not like I need it to go to work the next day. BUT the way I was made to wait for EVERYTHING and then be charge for the towing
seems outrageous to me. I feel like Larry SHOULD have at least given me a break on that for my inconvenience.

Would I ever take my car back? Price wise... 3 stars. Customer Service wise... 1 star.

We were very impressed with the service we received from Larry Adams of Adams Automotive and Towing. Our car became stuck and crosswise on a very wet and muddy county road recently. We called our insurance and was put in touch with Mr. Adams. He contacted us in a very short time to get more info on where we were located. He indicated that he would arrive about 1:20pm. He was there soon after that time. The area was about 25 miles from his home base. After dealing with the less than perfect conditions of the dirt roads Mr. Adams did an "above and beyond" effort to get our car extracted and to dry road without damage done to our car. He maintained a very pleasant attitude and reassured us several times that he would get us and the car out of the situation. We are very thankful that he chose to come help us out of the mess we had gotten ourselves in.

Poor Customer Service from the Owner Larry Adams. His language is very vulgur and he is very disrespectful to his customers. He had my car for over 3 weeks and each time I would call to check on the status he would tell me the part was on the truck and should be in the next day, or they sent the wrong part, or they were waiting on a part, or it would be ready the next day. When he called for the car to be picked up he cursed us and came from behind his counter to try to provoke my husband to fight him. Needless to say after this incident I will not return to him nor will I reccomend him to anyone. I also took my car the very next day and traded it, because it died on me when I stopped the engine and would not crank. I felt like after he acted the way he did, he might have done something to my car that would cause it to break down and refuse to fix it. I have 2 small children with me a lot of the time and I did not trust the car and did not feel safe.

I was in a car accident and my insurance company called these guys to come and pick up my car they also go by the name PRONTOW. I was told they would be there in 30 mins after waiting for about 1 hour 15 mins, I then called the number provided by my insurance, I called it, some guy said hello like it was his personal phone, I asked what company is this and he told me Adams, I repeated Adams then he said PRONTOW, I told him my name, and he asked where my car was and I then said didn't my insurance company contact you, and I then tell him my model, make and the location. He said I will talk to dispatch and call you back. 30 mins pass and he didn't call back, I then call over to the insurance and they say they are sorry and are working to get the tow service over to my location, after a short time on hold my insurance say 20 mins the tow truck will be there. So after 25 mins I called the number for the towing service and asked the guy what the problem was and he said he is in the parking lot looking at you and I said no he isn't while standing out my car and this was at a sonic and the car was parked in front of it in a fire lane, so this wasn't a large area. So we go back and forth about 5 times with me saying he isn't here and he says yes he is, until I see a tow truck pulling up with adams written on the door, I say I see him and hang up. The tow truck pull up and drives right on by and keeps going, I'm thinking since sonic's parking area is so small he is trying to find a better way to pull in about 5 mins go by and I see this guy isn't coming back, I called the towing service number and he says I sent him on another call I don't have time to do something couldn't really understand him since I was outside near a major freeway so I say hold on and jump in the car so I can hear him and I say where is the tow, and he said since you want to hang up on people I sent him to another call, I was speechless and just laughed and hung up the call. I then call my insurance company and tell them what happen, then again they say how sorry they are and will dispatch another towing company out to me, and will text me the new contact info of the towing service and so I get that after about 5 to 10 mins and guess what it is? Adams towing the same company different name. So i then call my insurance company again and tell them I do not want adams towing they don't deserve any money from you guys and so they cancel the tow and get another company which showed up in 15 mins. I couldn't believe it I had waited for almost 3 hours for a tow and the guy gets mad at me and pulls the wrecker away once he finally gets to my car 2 and half hours later. I talk with the new service when I asked if they knew about adams towing and they said yes they're very shady company. Trust me don't bother calling these guys, I wouldn't trust them with changing my washer fluid, the most unprofessional service I have ever had in my 31 years of existing on this planet and with me being X-military I have traveled around.

I just watched this wrecker service fly the Middle School and High School school zones without any emergency lights. He drop right up on the butt of my car in the school zone. This is dangerous driving in a school zone. My 15 year old son was driving and if it had been me, I would have stopped in the street and confronted him. I called the driver and he claimed he was on the way to an accident. He is STILL Required to run emergency lights and he has ZERO Right to crawl up the backside of another car, Potentially causing a wreck. I will gladly let everyone in town know what a wreck less business this owner is running. There is no need to endanger other people while on the way to generate some revenue.

Everyone recommended him so I gave him a chance and I will never go back. Horrible service, overcharged me, and he didn't even fix my truck. Only thing I ever see him doing is driving around in his tow truck.
