Don't order from here! Ordered for delivery promised 45min to an hour. 1.15 called and they said they got really busy (what local would eat here?!!) and that it'd be an additional half hour. Another call was a promise that it was on its way, 30 later yet another call and once I got Kendra's name she started giving me an attitude but the promised meal would be here any moment. Two and a half hours later, called back and they said we'd cancelled the order. Terrible people all the way around.

They have their own twist on traditional chinese dishes which put me off. When the dishes showed up. They looked appealing but the taste of their fare was very disappointing.

China Bowl is far and away the best Chinese in Missoula. After growing up in California in the Bay Area and having access to China Town and the like, I never thought I would find decent chinese food in the middle of the Rockies.Here it is, and I am happily surprised. I have been eating here for more than 13 years and they have never disappointed. I do think that they get bad reviews because people are mixing them up with China Garden, (which is awful!), unfortunately, I found this out because I too mixed them up when calling in a to go order once.Likewise, on one of the sites, (Yelp I think), you click the tab to look at the menu of China Bowl and China Garden's menu comes up!Please don't get the two confused, and whomever loaded the menu under the wrong name should be ashamed! China Bowl is awesome food at great prices. I just ordered enough for 6 adults and 2 kids and paid $83 including appetizers and soup...can't beat it!

We usually eat at New Hong Kong Chef, but they were closed. My Dad had eaten at China Bowl before & said he'd give them another chance, me my 1st time there. Entering the place the dirty fish pond should have told me something. Will we go back - never. The fried prawns or should I say small shrimp were rubbery & seemed to have been pre-cooked & left lying in the kitchen. My Dad is a local & I'm from OC, CA & it's really hard to beat Yen Ching in Orange, but always we go back to New Hong Kong Chef. It's hard to find but worth it even though the menu is complicated.

I really like the China Bowl- when i get hungry I like to have alot of food and have it quickly and this place fits the bill!So many options to pick from- I am a seafood lover and CB has my favorite- prawns and scallops. Nice family atmosphere.

we placed an order and had it delivered. Found out the order was wrong, called them and they called me a liar and would cost $3,oo more to deliver the right dish. 1 hour later called them and they decided not to take care of me their customer. Didn't bother to call me back and left me hanging. I never did get to eat or get my right dish or my money back. I would have to pay again for both. Not a phone call or anything. You will not be a valued customer of this restaraunt. I will never ever eat there again and advise anyone not to.You will be treated wrong if something you ordered is not what you requested. rate it as a 0!!!!!!!!!!!!
