I own a 2006 Ford Expedition and I recently started having this knocking noise coming from the front of the motor when driving. I took the truck to my mechanic that I have been with for the past 6 years and he stated it was a timing belt tensioner and it would run from $1500.00 - $2000.00 for the job. I wanted to have another estimate and took my truck to Miguel and Ramon at Engine Rebuilders. Ramon checked my oil pressure and noticed it was a bit low. He added oil to the truck and changed filter and my $1500.00 problem is gone and so is my old mechanic. Thank You Engine Rebuilders.

To Whom it may concern, "I dont really like to write reviews. But I wanted to write this so people be aware of this "20 year shop" ...hmmmm I was looking to get my car engine fix 'cause it was shaking. according to Miguel the "owner" and Robert his partner,sounds like you have a bad head or a piston ?.... I dont know much about it .But up front he wanted to charge me 750.00 if I want to get it fix, without even looking at the work but he he said dont worry it might be something else,... spark plugs....,we have to look and see. I said ok go ahead .thinking that for $750.00 the problem will be solved right (wrong!)

they didnt call me after trhee days Id called them to check if the car is ready. Miguel said they car is ready and its 600.00 Dollars,but you have to pay me cash no tax like he was doing me a favor, well, when I drove off the car away from the garagae I'd heard this clicking sound under the engine I stoped. And I asked what is that sound? and he says is the compression hitting the piston and there is nothing I can do unless I spend another 700.00 .I said NO fricking way !II just paid 600.00 I took the car with me to anothrr garage and it wasnt the fricking piston. Im so pissed with this thieves so called mechanics, who knows how long they have been ripping people off.



Let me tell you Miguel at first seems Ok sort of like a honest man, the way how he manipulates people, the way he talks to you not knowing that he is ripping you OFF Big Time. I didnt know. I am so sorry Ihad ever taking my car to that hole getto shop thinking I could save a little bit of money hence you get what you paid for. and whoever wrote that review I guarantee you he is has been an another shop or an a acomplice or nicely put .. a family menber.
