Exceptional shelter. Animals are clean and well cared for. Staff is very attentive. We adopted a dog there whom they have saved and are so grateful for the wonderful things they do for the animals on limited resources. Tommy and us thank all of you!!!

We went here to look for a kitten. Found the cutest black and white one. Most of them did not have any sticker information on the cage so we asked if the ones without a sticker are adoptable. They said yes they can still be adopted. When we were paying for the kitten, they did not mention anything about it being sick. Few hours after we got home, I noticed a bug running around in the kitten's fur. Turns out it had way more fleas than just that one. Then they said they do not do returns and cannot do anything once the kitten is purchased. No shelter is supposed to have animals up for adoption that are sick in any kind of way. This one did and did not inform anybody of which one is sick or infested and which one is not. Do not adopt or foster from this shelter. Save yourself some money and pain.

I think Mesquite has a great shelter, take care of the dogs and very clean.

Tried to contact them re: a large dog someone dumped in our back yard. The menu options send you on a wild goose chase where you have to listen to minutes-long messages before you can proceed. FINALLY, after 10 minutes' worth of all kinds of 3-minute-long sermons, I figured out how to get their phone to ring. I let it ring 25 times EASY. No answer !
