On vacation with our RV. Trip from MN to TX, arrive with a screaming coming from the engine. Prior experience I think I am listening to a waterpump bearing getting ready to fail or another serpentine belt driven item that is dying. Great, hard to access in a Class A and costly. I call McCormacks and talk with the owner, he says bring it on in. I believe I already know your problem. Turns out a belt I had installed before winter storage was a generic belt. NOT a bad belt, but generic. My mind is imagining water pump, A/C compressor and a bill on vacation that will really sting. After a few hours for the motor to cool and the mechanics to work I get a call from Mr McCormack. "Come get your rig, its ready" THANK YOU for your knowledge and the very fair repair bill. To add to this story, McCormacks shop was a referral from Ryans RV in the same area. He was honest with me and said other repairs he can do but not set up to work on V10 Fords in the Class A's. McCormacks garage was excellent! They fixed my car in one day and the price was not bad. This local business seems very friendly and trust worthy. I would deffinately recommend this shop!
