My love for pulmonary medicine stems from the challenges that this field offers. It is a complex subspecialty of medicine that continues to push me and helps me grow as a physician.I appreciate the fast-paced environment of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It requires physicians to consider the patient as a whole. I also enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork of being in an ICU. I work closely with nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists and many others to care for our patients.I want my patients to feel heard and understood, and to know they are receiving the best possible care from our team.
