Jamie was friendly, courteous and most helpful. We couldn't get our garage door to close this morning. I called Schmitz and spoke with Jamie. He said he could come this afternoon around 2 pm and would call before he came. He called right at 2 pm and was here in 5 minutes. He found the problem, a spider inside of the eye tracker, right away and took care of the problem immediately. I highly recommend Schmitz Door and will contact them again when service is needed. Thank you so much, Jamie. Your prompt assistance is much appreciated.
I called Schmitz with a mysterious stuck garage door, and he was over within half an hour, and had the problem diagnosed in about a minute flat -- the door was fine, but the drywall above it was coming loose from the wall, blocking the door from opening. He had it fixed in an hour and charged much less than I was expecting to pay. He also straightened out the remains of a years-old poorly-done-by-someone-else repair, and now the door opens more quietly than it has in ages. Just a really great experience all around.
All the high ratings here for Schmitz Door Service are definitely well deserved!! I called Schmitz for a broken spring, made an appointment, and the garage door was fixed within an hour. Couldn't have been easier for me! Their charges were clear and fair, completely dependent on the type of spring you have (which determines the amount of work it requires), unlike some of the other places I called who kept beating around the bush about the total fees I could expect. I would highly recommend Schmitz to everyone I know.
Wow is Bob great. Called him Monday morning with a garage door that I thought needed to be replaced. He was out to my house in less than an hour and was able to fix the problem without needing a new door. He replaced what needed to be replaced and got the rest of it back in shape. Garage door works great now. Top notch service top to bottom

I've used these guys for about ten years for both repair and replacement of openers and doors. Always top notch service and advice at fair prices. Recently had an opener fail. Bob walked me through resolution right over the phone -- without a service fee. I'll recommend Schmitz to anyone except people I don't like.
Didn't think I'd get someone on Xmas Eve for broken spring. but he was prompt and did a great job. So glad I chose Schmitz. If I need further garage door service, I will for sure choose Schmitz!!
Called on a Saturday morning after the garage door was backed into. He was here by 11:30 and fixed the door for a very reasonable fee. Absolutely recommend--when the time comes for a new door we know where we'll go.

Timely, efficient, friendly and clean. Left my garage looking better than when he started. Bob took a very complicated project and made it look easy. Will not call anyone else!
Mr Schmitz arrived promptly with a quote and the repair was completed within forty five minutes. He was courteous and professional. He replaced only the parts that needed replacing unlike another company that said I needed to replace all parts. I would recommend this company for your door needs.
