SCAMMERS!! DO NOT HIRE THESE SCAMMERS!

I received a business card on my door with a "Free Estimates" pink paper attached to it in January. I called to get an estimate for tree trimming in my back yard. They came and gave me an estimate of $500, and they also said they work through the winter. I thought this was strange because of how cold and snowy it had been, but I went along with it.

We agreed on a date in February for them to come and do the work. I was going to be at work when they were to come and I stupidly agreed to leave them a check taped to the door.

Well, they came and got the check. They also cashed the check. The only thing they have NOT done yet is the actual work! It is now June and this has been going on since February...

I have talked to and texted either "Dan" or "Angie" at LEAST ten times since February and every single time they say they will be out the next day to do the work and they NEVER show up!

I am aware of the weather being a factor in this type of work, and have tried to be reasonable with them. Each time I speak to either of them they have many different excuses, between the equipment breaking down or some kind of issues with this or that. Ironically, their equipment worked just fine on the way to the bank!

They also keep leaving their little business card/flyer thing on my property and I cannot figure out why they are doing that. They have already scammed me out of $500!

Please beware of these scammers and always do your research before hiring anybody!!!

Don’t hire this company. They did not remove dead branches from my back yard tree and left some lower branches on front and back trees. I talked to them twice but they never show up to fix their mistakes. Non professional attitude.

SCAM ALERT! Wish I had seen these reviews before calling them. They ripped me off. Look at their Facebook page and you will see the ONE 5 star review posted here by Amanda F is from the same "Angie Middler" I wrote the check to. The profile photos are the same! It was her and "Dan Groulx" that came to look at the tree. DO NOT HIRE THEM, they are SCAMMERS! They thought nothing of ripping off a senior citizen! Do not let them anywhere near your property!!!

Great Job!!!!! Highly recommend. I saw some of the reviews, and was a bit apprehensive, but they came and did an excellent job. Did exactly to my specifics.

I am a landlord in royal oak. I use double d tree service for all my tree care needs on my properties. I also recommend them to my neighbors my friends and family. We all use them every few years or for any emergency work that needs to be done. The owner is a very nice guy and his partner Angie is very accommodating. They always clean up so the yard looks better than it did before they arrived. Not one stick, leaf or any debris left behind. They're prices are also very fair and competitive. I would recommend you give them a call. Thank you

Do Not Hire Them!!! they'll take your money without finishing what was agreed upon. Odd too that the check is made out to Angie Middler and not to the company. I should have followed my first instinct then that there's something wrong with how they do business. Do not hire unless you want to spend thousands of dollars for an unfinished job!!!
