I would give them no stars if I could!

I bought some shoes from this company and they have the worst return policy of any shoe store I have ever shopped at. The sales people will tell you to wear the shoes until they break in, but if you do, they will not take them back for a refund. You can only get a refund if the shoes are "unworn" so they can resell them, plus it has to be within the first 30 days. (Of course they don't tell you their return policy, it is on a little sign on their counter)

How can they say to break the shoes in to make sure they will work for you, and at the same time tell you that you cannot get a refund if they do not work?

They then continued to lie to me: they said that shoes that are worn had to be thrown out or donated. They said that shoe manufacturers do not give them credit for the shoes that they return. Yet they DO get FULL CREDIT from the manufacturer even though they don't physically return the shoes (they return the UPC from the box, not the shoes themselves).

These people sell shoes, shoes that they get full credit from the shoe manufacturers when people return them, and yet they will NOT give you a refund.

After arguing with the sales person he finally offered to give me "store credit" for the shoes. I did not have a good experience with these people, why would I ever continue to shop here?

I called the company's customer support and they told the same lies - the shoes cannot be returned to the manufacturer. I asked for the manager, and she told me the same thing. I asked for their manager and he was the worst customer support manager I had ever come across. Very rude and even more lies. NO REFUNDS, PERIOD.

NEVER shop at a shoe company that will not refund your money if the shoes hurt your feet. It costs them NOTHING because the manufacturer gives them full credit, and yet The Walking Company holds your money hostage with their no refunds policy.
