Find another salon. Being objective as possible I can say that the hairdressers at Jays Beauty Salon are total rip offs. I have very short hair, fine in texture, that reaches the base of my neck, I was charged $35 for a simple wash and blow dry. Not only are they very over priced they are extremely unprofessional. Having been there once before I cut my hair (that visit costed $50) I noticed how very busy it can be, therefore this time around I made an oppointment as I was on a tight schedule. I get there promptly at my appointment time and the hairdresser assigned to me in on her lunch break, I wait 20+ minutes while this woman finishes eating and begins my hair. To add insult to injury this woman incessantly tries to upsell, continuously suggesting a "treatment" which consists of saturating plain old conditioner throughout your hair and being placed under a hair dryer for 15 minutes or more depending on how many other people your hairdresser is juggling. That's another thing I can attest to their unprofessionalism, the client juggling. The woman who did my hair was so desperate to keep as many clients as possible that the woman whom she partially serviced before me, had to have her color redone as it had turned firey orange whilst the hairdresser was rushing to finish my blow dry.



For $35 I expect a quality and professional hair style & stylist. Jay's Beauty Salon is a joke.
