Located in Lexington, N.C., Davidson County Sanitation is a division of the Davidson County Solid Waste Management Department. The company houses recycling centers and a fleet of roll-off trucks that transport all waste and recyclables from the drop off sites to the landfill and material recovery facility (MRF). The centers accept household garbage and recyclable material. Its main landfill processes waste material from furniture, appliances, tires, household chemicals, electronics and large truck loads.Also, it processes yard waste through local wood recyclers.
