Staff on the floor is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They are constantly telling loud jokes, having conversations with each other, throwing objects at each other, and not paying attention to machines that are not operating during a draw (are there any competent Managers on the floor?) The employees act as if they are there to have a good time and donors are secondary low life nuisances. This is obvious by the number of times a phlebotomist has to re-stick people because the original stick wasn't done correctly. I've also seen donors called to a section and are assisted only after several other customers entering the section after the first person are assisted first. CSL needs some serious management and employee training.

Great employees

I am a new donor, I was told the first two weeks that I would receive $40 the first donation in the week and $75 the second time. My first week was great. The second week for my first donation I was not notified of any compensation changes. After I donated the assistant told me I would only receive $20. I was completely shocked and she explained that many people have asked the same question and we were all wrong. There are signs still up about the alleged old compensation for new donors. Not to mention I was feeling very uncomfortable when I was stuck. I felt pressure in my arm and it was going numb. I was not advised what is normal vs. abnormal. In retail this would be a lawsuit for false advertising. Here I am giving up my time and saving lives and this company continues to hire people who are afraid to receive more training and guidance as phlebotomists and lackluster customer service. I stopped coming to this place because of my arm and cold staff. A friend called to find out her day she could donate and the receptionist didn't want to tell her at first and lectured her for not remembering. What's the use of closing early for monthly meetings and nothing improves? Why remodel the inside of your building and still not have enough seating for donors to patiently wait to donate their plasma?Please use your energies to get a side income that replaces your desire to come to this place for extra $$. Its worth saving lives but at what cost? To be belittled and taken advantage of? I don't think so. You are worth so much more than the degrading experience you will receive at CSL Plasma.

ZLB Plasma services is a clean, efficient collection facility. The staff is friendly and personable. The clean up-to-date equipment and waiting rooms leaves you feeling relaxed. They play movies and are good about keeping them up to date! The wait time is usually around an 1 hour or so and the collection process usually takes me about 45minutes or so. They have a neat ATM machine that makes collection compensation a breeze. Kenya, one of the ladies that runs the collection floor is very knowledgable and friendly and is extremely good at inserting the collection needles. I have never left with a mark. This site also has a large parking lot and vending machines.
